The record so far
Ludovic Pommeret is a French mountain ultrarunner whose career has remained internationally competitive across more than two decades and into the M50 category.
In July 2026, shortly before his 51st birthday, Pommeret won Hardrock for a third consecutive year. His 21:11:36 clockwise finish improved his own 2024 benchmark by more than 21 minutes and is the race's current fastest performance in either direction.
Pommeret's wider record includes the 2016 UTMB title, victory at La Diagonale des Fous in 2021, and a TDS win in 2022. He has also placed fifth or sixth at UTMB in three consecutive editions from 2023 through 2025.
