Overview

Multiday Running (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use this website. The site has no user accounts, newsletter signup, advertising tracker, or payment form.

Information Processed When You Visit

Hosting and Security Data

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, and security logs. Vercel handles that information under its own data-protection terms.

Aggregate Web Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views, referrers, device type, browser, and approximate region. We do not send names, email addresses, or custom user identifiers to analytics. Vercel describes these analytics data points as anonymous and not associated with an individual or IP address. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure how pages are found and used, such as page views, scrolling, outbound link clicks, referrers, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to recognize a browser across visits and may process your IP address to derive approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not send names, email addresses, or custom user identifiers to Google Analytics.

If you visit from the EU, the wider European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics loads only after you allow it in the cookie banner. Elsewhere it loads by default. Anyone can allow or turn off analytics at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page; turning it off stops further measurement and deletes the Google Analytics cookies. You can also block it with your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Email Contact

The site does not contain a newsletter form. If you select an email link, your email application opens and you choose whether to send a message. That message is processed by your email provider and ours; it is not submitted through this website.

Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use advertising cookies. When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics sets the cookies described above. A session cookie (multiday-consent-required) records only whether your country requires analytics consent, based on the country our host derives from your IP address; it contains no identifier. Your analytics choice is kept in this browser's local storage. Saved race shortlists and crew plans that you choose to save are stored in this browser’s local storage. They remain on this device until you remove them or clear site data. Other calculator and checklist entries are not saved between visits. Shared comparison links contain the selected race identifiers; anyone with the link can see that comparison. They do not include your crew-plan notes. Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technologies to operate and secure their services.

Retention

Aggregate analytics are retained according to the site's Vercel plan and settings. Google Analytics data is retained for the period set in our Google Analytics data-retention settings. If you email us, we retain the message only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep necessary records, or meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a message unless retention is legally required.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. To make a request, use the contact address below. We may need enough information to verify and handle the request.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information through the site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
