Four-time UTMB winner and 2024 Tor des Géants champion
François D'Haene is a four-time UTMB and Diagonale des Fous winner, 2024 Tor des Géants champion and former GR20 and Nolan’s 14 supported record holder.
François D'Haene is a French mountain ultrarunner whose career combines victories in major 100-mile races, long technical competitions, and supported fastest-known-time projects.
D'Haene has won UTMB four times, in 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2021. He also won La Diagonale des Fous in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018, giving him unusual depth across two of the sport’s most established mountain ultras.
His work beyond organized racing includes the first sub-three-day supported completion of the John Muir Trail in 2017, a men’s supported Nolan’s 14 record in July 2025 that David Hedges lowered that September, and a 29:46:20 supported GR20 in July 2026 that reclaimed the record from Lambert Santelli before Aurélien Dunand-Pallaz ran 27:29:30 two months later.
