Runner interview
Decisions, turning points and lessons from a named race edition.
A specific account of what happened is more useful than a perfect-sounding plan. We welcome runner interviews, crew reports and packing lists from people who were there.
Decisions, turning points and lessons from a named race edition.
How the plan worked at the actual crew points and overnight.
What you brought, used, missed and would leave at home.
Name the race, edition, your role and the conditions you experienced. Separate what you observed from what someone told you. Link the official result for performance claims, and say when a time, distance or weight is an estimate.
For a packing list, distinguish what you carried, what stayed with your crew, what you used and what you would leave behind. For a crew report, include the actual access restrictions and a handover that went well or badly. Personal experience should keep its context rather than become a universal recommendation.
Email your completed draft to hello@multidayrunning.com. Include your preferred byline, any relevant sponsorship or supplied equipment, and the sources behind factual claims. Only include quotations and photographs you have permission to share; provide photographer credits separately.
