Sally McRae is an American ultrarunner with victories in both long trail races and the Badwater 135 road race. She won the women’s division at Badwater in 2021, finishing seventh overall in 30:48:47, and returned to complete the race again in 2022 and 2026.
McRae’s 2023 season included four finishes at 200 miles or longer: Cocodona 250, Tahoe 200, Bigfoot 200, and Moab 240. She closed that sequence by winning Moab’s women’s race in 86:18:33 and placing 12th overall.
Her wider record includes a 2019 victory at Mozart 100 and repeated Western States finishes. The results show a range extending from mountainous 100-mile races to multi-day trail events and the extreme-heat conditions of Death Valley.
