The record so far

Mika Thewes is an American ultrarunner specializing in 200-mile and multi-day trail races. She has won the women’s division at Tahoe 200 in 2022, 2024, and 2026, placing fourth, third, and second overall in those editions. In October 2026 she also won the women’s race at The Mammoth 200 in 54:03:46, again finishing second overall.

In 2023, Thewes won the women’s races at Bigfoot 200 in 58:21:12 and The Divide 200 in 58:51:11, placing second and fourth overall. It was her second Bigfoot women’s title after a 2021 win; her 2023 time was later surpassed, so it is presented here as a winning performance rather than a current course record.

Her results also include a 2024 Tor des Géants finish, repeated Cocodona completions, and second place among women in the 326-mile Last Annual Heart of the South Road Race in 2020. Together, those performances cover marked trail races, high-mountain events, and long road formats.
