Guillaume Calmettes is a French ultrarunner with major results in backyard racing, mountain 100-milers, and the Barkley Marathons. His race history spans the United States, France, Northern Ireland, and Réunion.
Calmettes won Big’s Backyard Ultra in 2017 with 59 yards, or 395.654 kilometers, setting a new format benchmark. He returned for 54 yards in 2018, the same year he won Last One Standing at Florence Court with 49 yards.
Before his backyard breakthrough, Calmettes won the 2016 Angeles Crest 100 in 19:14:24. He has also recorded multiple Barkley fun runs and second-place finishes at the HURT 100, demonstrating unusual depth across very different forms of endurance racing.
