Maggie Guterl is an American ultrarunner based in Durango, Colorado. In 2019 she became the first woman to win Big Dog’s Backyard Ultra outright, completing 60 yards for 402.360 km and outlasting the entire field.
Guterl added another defining long-distance victory at the inaugural Cocodona 250 in 2021, finishing first woman and seventh overall in 3 days, 13 hours, 30 minutes, and 38 seconds. Her public results also cover 24-hour racing and mountain 100-milers including Hardrock and Run Rabbit Run.
Those results connect three distinct disciplines: fixed-time racing, backyard ultras, and mountain events extending beyond 200 miles.
