Kaneenika Janakova is a Slovak multiday ultrarunner whose career spans more than two decades of six-day, ten-day, 1,000-mile, and 3,100-mile racing.
Janakova completed the 3,100 Mile Race in three consecutive years from 2016 through 2018. Her 2017 finish of 48 days, 14 hours, 24 minutes, and 10 seconds set a women’s world record that stood until Tsai Wen-Ya lowered it in 2023.
Before focusing on 3,100 miles, Janakova developed an exceptional ten-day record. She won the 2011 race outright with 1,165.165 kilometers and improved her career best to 1,169.993 kilometers in 2014, finishing second overall.
