Camille Herron is an American ultrarunner with championship-level results from 50 kilometers through six days. The International Association of Ultrarunners identifies her as the only athlete to have won its 50 km, 100 km, and 24-hour world championship formats.
Her major road wins include the 2017 Comrades Marathon and the 2023 Spartathlon, where she became the first woman to finish under 24 hours. She has also produced landmark timed-race distances, including 270.116 kilometers at the 2019 IAU 24-Hour World Championship, 435.336 kilometers over 48 hours in 2023, and 901.768 kilometers over six days in 2024.
Her 2019 24-hour distance was a world record at the time, and the IAU listed the 2024 six-day result as a world-best performance; Stine Rex covered 928.577 km in 2025, so Herron’s figure is a former rather than a current six-day best. The IAU lists six-day marks as world-best performances rather than ratified world records, while Guinness World Records ratified Rex’s distance as a world record.
