Michael McKnight is an American 200-mile specialist, 2023 Cocodona champion, and 2026 Arizona Monster 300 winner and course-record holder.
Michael McKnight is an American ultrarunner based in Smithfield, Utah, whose strongest results have come in 200-mile-plus mountain races. His record includes victories at Cocodona, Moab, Bigfoot, and the Arizona Monster 300.
In 2019, McKnight became the first runner to win Tahoe 200, Bigfoot 200, and Moab 240 outright in one season. His combined time of 162:00:51 established a Triple Crown benchmark that has since been surpassed.
McKnight won the 2023 Cocodona 250 in 69:41:31. In 2026 he added the Arizona Monster 300 title, covering the 308.6-mile route in 82:49:45 to establish a new course record, before completing his fifth consecutive Cocodona later that spring.
