Spine Race, Northern Traverse, and Lakeland 100 champion
Damian Hall won the 2023 Spine Race, then set a Northern Traverse course record and won the Lakeland 100 during a standout 2025 season.
Damian Hall is a British mountain ultrarunner whose record spans winter races, 100-mile events, 300 km mountain races, and long-distance trail projects. He won the 2023 Winter Spine Race in 84:36:24 and returned in 2024 to place second in 82:25:10.
Hall produced two major victories in 2025. He won the Northern Traverse in a course-record 42:56:50 and then won the Lakeland 100 in 19:33:33, placing first across the full field at both events.
His earlier long-trail record includes a supported Pennine Way fastest known time of 2 days, 13 hours, 35 minutes, and 15 seconds in 2020. John Kelly surpassed that mark the following year, so Hall’s performance is identified here as a former FKT.
