Course & Terrain
Technical trail loop at Pesqueiro do Elias II, repeated on the hour until only one runner can complete another yard.

- Long climb of about 170 m from the arena to the high point (organizer GPX), with flatter running along the top
- Technical singletrack descent back to the arena, run by headlamp overnight
Loop Ultra calls the course “a little hard”, full of technical trail, drainage ditches, singletrack and climbs. Its published GPX measures about 6.7 km and climbs from roughly 737 m at the arena to about 906 m at the high point, and the organizer’s race page put the climbing at about 280 m per loop in 2026 (230 m in 2025). Douglas Silva, the 2026 assist, timed the first 1.4 km to the steepest climb and described flat running along the top. Winner Guilherme Santos Victor aimed to reach the foot of the climb in about 9 minutes and the top in 23 to 24, then let himself flow down the technical singletrack descent, which was slippery after rain in 2026. He called lugged trail shoes indispensable after seeing runners in smoother soles fall.
Cajamar sits at an average altitude of about 760 m and has a subtropical climate, according to Wikipedia. Yardlore’s race-day weather records show overcast skies and 10–24°C in 2025, and overcast skies with 15°C at night and 32°C in the sun in 2026. That year’s winner said the heat was punishing from the second loop and drove many runners out early, while rain in the preceding days left the descents slippery. Douglas Silva described the darkness on the trail at night as intense.

| Qualification | Open entry with no qualifying result, sold through Ticket Sports in two options. “A Lenda Sem Medo” (“without fear”) is the full last-person-standing race: R$280 plus platform fees for registrations through August 1, 2026, down from R$370 in 2025, with a personalized shirt, cap, mug, special bib and participation medal. “A Lenda Com Medo” (“with fear”) caps the day at three loops for R$125 plus fees (R$150 in 2025), with a shirt, mug, bib and medal. Registration for 2026 closed on September 16, ten days before the race. The last man and the last woman standing each receive an oversized A Lenda trophy.
