- Crew and pacers
- Crews can meet runners at Vienna City Park, Karnak and Tunnel Hill, and at the Wetland Center turnaround on the first loop. Heron Pond and Shelby Road have roadside access only, with no parking lot, and Heron Pond is closed to crews until 9:30 AM. Vehicles are not allowed at Breeden Trestle, and help anywhere other than a designated station, including caching, is banned under USATF rules. In the 100-miler, pacers may start at nightfall, around 5:00 PM, at the nearest aid station. Each needs a pacer bib from packet pickup or the finish area, a signed waiver and $15 in cash, which covers aid-station food and a bib belt. One pacer at a time, though the bib can be handed to a second pacer. Mules, bikes and other wheeled support are not allowed.
- Drop bags
- There are three drop-bag stations: Karnak (miles 10.5, 15.7, 60.5 and 65.7), Vienna City Park (26.2, 50 and 76.2) and Tunnel Hill (35.9, 40.4, 85.9 and 90.4). Bags should be about shoebox size and no bigger than roughly 12 × 12 × 18 inches, with no large coolers, labeled with your name and bib number and left in the right corral near the White Building at Vienna City Park by 6:30 AM on race morning. Used bags go in each station’s return-to-finish area and are shuttled back to Vienna. Nothing is shipped after the race, and the organizer asks runners not to pack car keys.
