Duration / cutoff: 74 hours (1:00 PM Sunday, January 17), with a cutoff at every support base, from 9:00 PM Thursday at Piódão to 6:30 AM Sunday at Porto de Mós. Leaving a base after its cutoff means disqualification.
Crew and pacers: Planned support on the course means immediate disqualification. Each runner may have one assistant, registered in advance with name, phone and vehicle, who may help only inside the support bases while the runner is there and may run only 200 m before and after a base. On the last section, from Porto de Mós to Nazaré, anyone may run with the athlete without carrying a pack or giving physical help; pacers are banned on the rest of the route.
Drop bags: The organizer supplies bags and labels, and entry includes drop bags for all support bases. Bags are returned only on the last day, so items needed at the finish should not go in intermediate bags.
