Crew and pacers

Crews can meet 100-mile runners at every aid station except Split Rock, Tettegouche and Sonju Lake Road, and Temperance is crew-accessible for the 100 only. Crews may help only at aid stations, must park in designated areas or on one side of the road, never in front of a station, and cannot bring RVs or motor homes. Pacers can join at County Road 6 (mile 41), one at a time, with up to two allowed on the final section from Oberg to the finish. Runners 65 and older may have a pacer at any point. Pacers wear a pacer bib from check-in and may not carry food, water or gear for their runner.

Drop bags

Drop bags are accepted only at Thursday check-in, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lake County Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Two Harbors, and not on race morning. Each aid station takes one bag per runner, no larger than 15 x 10 x 7.5 inches and with no liquids. Every station except Split Rock accepts them. Bags reach the finish after the stations close, likely after 8:30 PM Saturday, and unclaimed bags are donated to charity after about 9:00 AM Sunday. Most runners collect their lights at Silver Bay (mile 23).
