Plan SkyRun South Africa
Use the listed edition as your starting point. Each tool keeps imported race facts separate from the targets and assumptions you choose.
Edition notes: The organizer confirms the 30th edition for Saturday, November 14, with the 100 km and 65 km starting at 4:00 AM in Lady Grey and the 38 km at 2:00 PM from Wartrail. Press reports through November 2025 called it the K-Way SkyRun, but the 2026 site brands it SkyRun, presented by Fynbos. Entries are closed. The site gives the route as 99.8 km on its home page and 99.2 km in its checkpoint table, measured from the official GPX.

- Crew and pacers
- Outside help is allowed only at CP6 Balloch (56.5 km), the single seconding zone and the only place family and friends can see runners. The organizer shuttles seconds in and out of the Balloch farm, and no vehicles may go past the farm entrance. Cell phones don’t work at Balloch or the finish area. The rules ban muling, towing and unofficial participants, so a runner can’t have a pacer.
- Drop bags
- A free bag drop serves the 100 km and 65 km. Two trailers stand at the Lady Grey start, one bound for CP6 Balloch and one for the finish at Wartrail. The service opens at 3:30 AM on race morning, and bags must show the runner’s name and race number.
Recorded facts reviewed Nov 5, 2026. Check the organizer’s latest rules. Calendar downloads use all-day dates and do not set a starting alarm.
