Plan Mozart 100 by UTMB

Use the listed edition as your starting point. Each tool keeps imported race facts separate from the targets and assumptions you choose.

This is a past edition. These details are for reference; confirm a future edition before making a plan.

Listed edition
May 23, 2026 – May 24, 2026
Format
Fixed-Distance
Distance
119 km
Local start time
5:00 AM Saturday
Duration / cutoff
23 hours in 2026 (finish closed 4:00 AM Sunday), with time barriers at Strobl, St. Gilgen, Schafbachalm, Faistenau, the Gaisberg, Koppl and Hof
Crew and pacers
No pacers. Runners may be accompanied only in the marked zones near aid stations (the regulations set the assistance zone at 500 m either side of a station), and company anywhere else costs 15 minutes. One support person per runner may help at Strobl (km 23), St. Gilgen (km 46), Faistenau (km 79) and Hof (km 109), in the designated area and at the station leader’s discretion, carrying nothing but a bag of up to 30 liters. Crews may give small care, such as a massage or blister treatment while the runner sits, but medical help from crews is forbidden, and assistance outside these stations costs an hour. Crews must park in the reserved lots, all within 5 minutes’ walk of the station: the Strobl secondary school, the Helenstraße car park in St. Gilgen (€4.50 a day, with support parking on Aberseestraße), the Faistenau sports field and the Hof school. Runners whose crews park elsewhere can be given time penalties. The organizer runs no shuttle for companions. Sommeraualm, the Schafberg, Illingeralm and Schafbachalm cannot be reached by car, while Abersee, Strobl, St. Gilgen, Faistenau, the Gaisberg and Hof are served by public buses until about 8:00 PM, and overnight guests in the province of Salzburg ride public transport free with the Guest Mobility Ticket.
Drop bags
One drop bag. Runners use the official 40 × 50 cm bag, marked with their bib number, and leave it at the start area in Fuschl between 4:00 and 5:00 AM on race morning. The organizer takes it to St. Gilgen, where runners can use it at aid station m5 (km 47 in the organizer’s text, 46.2 km in the final course table), and brings it back to the finish. Poles may not go in drop bags. Bags are returned at the finish to the runner or a friend showing the bib, and must be collected within 2 hours of the end of the race. There is also a clothes depot at the start and finish area.
