Use the listed edition as your starting point. Each tool keeps imported race facts separate from the targets and assumptions you choose.
Edition notes: The organizer and registration page confirm February 19–21, 2027. Online entry closes February 14 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Recheck the selected race schedule: some shorter-race times differ between the two pages.
- Listed edition
- Feb 19, 2027 – Feb 21, 2027
- Format
- 48-Hour
- Distance
- 48 hr / 24 hr; separate 100 mi, 100 km and 50 mi races
- Local start time
- 8:00 AM Friday (48-hour race)
- Duration / cutoff
- 48 hours for the headline timed race; other entries have separate limits.
- Crew and pacers
- On the long course, which the 48-hour uses, pacers are allowed one at a time and on foot from sunset to sunrise, and Aravaipa asks them to be mindful of other runners. Runners in the Friday USATF 100-mile championship may not have a pacer at any time. Crews can set up tables and tents in the staging areas along the Jackpot Strip and on the grass field the long loop circles, and anyone who reserved a tent collects camping tags at the registration tent. Crews may not take food from the aid station. Leashed dogs are allowed in the park but must stay off the course and away from the Strip tents.
- Drop bags
- Instead of drop bags, runners keep their gear at their own table or tent in the staging areas on the Jackpot Strip and the grass field next to the course. Personal gear is not allowed in the Town Hall tent, and race officials may remove anything left there.
