Plan Harry’s King of the Hill
Use the listed edition as your starting point. Each tool keeps imported race facts separate from the targets and assumptions you choose.
Edition notes: The 2026 race is sold out and started at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31; it runs until one athlete is left, so it can continue into Tuesday or later. The organizer’s home page advertises $25K AUD for the last one standing, which matches the race pack’s $20,000 Last Person Standing prize plus $5,000 for the last runner of their gender. The event page now shows the 2027 purse ($39K cash, $15,000 grand prize) and a 2027 waitlist.

- Format
- Backyard Ultra
- Distance
- 4.2 km every hour
- Local start time
- 11:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2026 (Melbourne time); mandatory race brief at the start line at 10:15 AM

- Every lap starts on the hour and must be completed within 60 minutes. Warnings sound 3, 2 and 1 minutes before each start. - Crew and pacers
- Crews of up to three may share an athlete’s rest area between laps and camp in the spectator area. No support of any kind during a lap, no pacers, no trekking poles and no headphones; runners carry only what they need on their person, and must have their bib and phone on every lap.
