Crew and pacers

Crews may meet runners only at the meet-up points listed in the official Course Details. There is no crewing on the opening seven-mile out-and-back, so crews wait at Beach Boulevard (mile 7), and race vehicles are banned from Ponte Vedra Boulevard between miles 8.2 and 16 apart from a sidewalk meet-up at Corona Road (mile 12). One support vehicle is allowed per runner (or per two runners sharing a crew); RVs, trailers and cargo vans are not, and the runner's number must show on all four sides with the race's caution sign on the back. Every crew member and pacer must register, wear the race's reflective vest by day and add blinking front and rear lights from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. One pacer at a time may join at Mickler's Beach Park (mile 16), on foot only. Penalties run from a bib warning to a one-hour time penalty to disqualification.

Drop bags

Drop bags are for uncrewed runners, at four 100-mile sites: GTM Preserve (mile 26.3), Southeast Intracoastal Waterway Park (mile 50.8), Gamble Rogers State Recreation Area (mile 72.4) and Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park in Daytona Beach Shores (mile 93.3). Bags are handed in at check-in and brought back to the finish; label them with name, bib number and station, skip plastic grocery bags and leave valuables out. Unclaimed bags are not saved or shipped. The race also trucks start-line luggage to the finish.
