Plan Brazil 135 Ultra Journey
Use the listed edition as your starting point. Each tool keeps imported race facts separate from the targets and assumptions you choose.
- Listed edition
- Jan 7, 2027 – Jan 10, 2027
- Format
- Fixed-Distance
- Distance
- 240 km (150 mi), with shorter finishes at decision points including 135 mi (217 km)
- Local start time
- 8:00 AM Thursday
- Duration / cutoff
- 68 hours for all distances (the race closes at 4:00 AM Sunday, January 10). Runners going for 150 miles must reach the 135-mile point within 60 hours.
- Crew and pacers
- A crew is optional but strongly recommended. For international runners the organizer can arrange a vehicle with two crew members, at least one of them English-speaking, from US$1,630 for five days. Support vehicles leapfrog the runner, pulling at least 300 m ahead, and may help only while both runner and vehicle are stopped on the right side of the road. Vehicles carry an organizer-supplied roof beacon from 6 PM to 6 AM. Physical contact with a moving runner is not allowed. The regulations do not mention pacers.
- Drop bags
- Runners without a crew can have as many drop bags as they need at the decision points. Bags are packed at the pre-race meeting and all go on to the finish in Paraisópolis. The organizer also carries uncrewed runners’ backpacks to the finish.
