U.S. 24 Hour Championship for 2006?

Any info, rumors etc. has to when and where the U.S. 24 Hour Championship is going to be held in 2006. Since it appears that not only Olander but also San Diego races are no more? Just trying to plan out my year and I'm interested in doing at least one 24 Hour race this year (my debut) and would really like to run in the Championship. I'd like to see and meet some of the best.

24 hour debut

There's no word just yet on the 24 hour Chamionships but if it does happen it will probably be June or later if I were to hazard a guess. There aren't that many candidates at the moment.

Checkout the 24 race calender for this years events and news will be posted on the 24 hour pages.

24 Hour races

Thanks for your reply. Yes I was looking high and low for 24 Hour events after I heard that the SD 24 Hour was to be no more. I found a few that I thought might be considered for the US Championship, based on their size. I came up with the Cornbelt (first weekend of May), FANS 24 (1st weekend of June), and Around the Lake (last weekend of July). I'm sure I missed some. I'm trying to be patient but it's frustrating in that I'd like to plan out my training and from the choices I might and a very short time or longer time (I'm hoping for longer). I also figure that since the World Championship is in Feb. the AUA would want to select a race that would allow those on the USA Team time to recover from the Worlds before the US Championship.
